Sorry to have wrapped it up bas I had to finish it or else I'll take long enough.
Enjoooy!
The guy ili kaan wiya Dana was a guy I always saw in the university's campus he had broad shoulders, he was always clean shaved and wore a pair of toms nearly everyday. A common one. I believe his name was Jassem.
Radait il bait wiya Hessa;
Hessa:"9awart'hum..."
Me:"DANA?"
Hessa:"ee, maku mashkoura?"
Me:"Ana shaku feeha, ba3dain manadri 3anhum"
Hessa:"kaifich"
I arrived home changed into my pj's and sat watching the tv alone bdari.I kept checking the phone if Aziz had texted, anything, he said he'd be busy with his family this week birou7oon ilshalaih.
I envy Dana so much I crave the least she gets if it's hearing his foot steps or smelling the scent of his perfume when he passes by.
I sat thinking whether Dana was going to the shalaih wiya Aziz or the driver? Whether he turns on his iPod for her and tells her to choose the songs like he used to ask me.
Whether he asks her if she brought his blue shorts just like how he used to ask me and I'd laugh it off and say "wai Aziz laish kila 7isbalik naseeta, I know it's your favourite"
Days passed and I hesitated whether to text him or not, since we've spoken we haven't been "apart" for TWO WHOLE days.
La2 Haya he's with his family...
If he wants to talk he will.
The day passed and Friday came along, I woke up to the scent of bukhour ilzwara kanat ib baitna today.
3ala ma kilman ya I wore
I had lunch with the family and we sat talking until I raced up to check on my phone. A notification from Aziz,
"Haya ili ga3d nsawi ghala6, Ana chithi ga3id akhoun Dana. Ili 9aar baina insi walani gayil 7ag a7ad."
Because it's that easy to forget and get over 9a7? I was too exahusted I didn't even bother getting sad about it.
I didn't know who to tell, I swallowed hard and kept it for my self.
Wana nazla kilman kaan ga3d y6ali3ni 7asait feeni shay ghala6.
Me:"waiii shinu shfeeni?!"
Khalti:"kh6ibach wild Noor al-X"
My other aunt spoke:"sh3alich a9il, flous, man9ib, ahala khoush naas...la wintay shayfita ba3ad mazyoun"
Mama:"ha shgiltay agolouhum eyoun 3ala youm?"
Pride took me at the very second, if Aziz didn't want me? It's time to move on. Even if it wasn't as easy as he made it sound.
Me:"ee 7ayahum allah"
*1 year passed*
I still sleep to the thoughts of Aziz, Fahad my new husband?
He was the most loyal man I've known, he made me happy yet, he had to put in effort.
He was tall and fit.
He worked at a bank and had his own business also.
He was everything a girl would want.
But he wasn't my Aziz.
*3 years passes*
I graduated, I heard that Aziz got into an argument with his parents after he divorced Dana and went to live in London back again.
Me and Fahad travelled around allot - he loves travelling around, beaches, Vegas nights together...and everything that made life joyful.
I started to grow feelings for him winthin these 3 years.
Although my heart still aches at the memory of Aziz, he was different.
I'll never have the love I completely gave my self 100% into with Fahad.
*5 years passed*
Now I have my little angle 9afaa in my hand samait'ha 3ala my mother. She has a beautiful light skin, large brown eyes.
She takes after her father's hair, pitch black and wavy.
She has my lips small yet, shaped and full.
She brought me and Fahad closer.
Kilman raa7 b6ireeja in these years that passed and I'd sometimes see Aziz in gathering where Hessa and Yousif would be. Ma kina nta7acha lama nshouf ba3adh; looks were enough to be understood. He still had an affect on me, or at least reminded me of the sweet parts.
He got on with his life and I did too.
And I still see him in my dreams at times.
